We're excited to announce the release of Limit Login Attempts Reloaded version 2.26.17! This update introduces the ability to block spam and potentially malicious users from signing up as users to your website.
Release 2.26.17
- Protect your user registrations forms to reduce spam and malicious actors
User Registration Protection for New WordPress Account (Cloud Accounts Only)
Premium and Micro Cloud users can enhance the security of their WordPress user registration forms with our advanced cloud protection. Leveraging IP intelligence from over 50,000 WordPress websites, we effectively block malicious actors from creating accounts on your site. This not only strengthens your website’s security but also minimizes the need for manual moderation.

To turn this feature on, it's simple! go to Settings in your LLAR dashboard inside the WordPress admin panel. Under Limit Login Attempts Cloud App scroll down to Limit Registration and turn on. That's it!
Please note that this feature only applies to the primary WordPress account creation, but other registration forms will soon benefit from its inclusion. Free users must upgrade to our Micro Cloud service to access this feature, but it will be limited. This can be done directly through the LLAR plugin dashboard.
To get full access to this feature, check out our plans and pricing to get started.
